Our Musical Philosophy and Community 我們的音樂理念與社群
Our community is built on a “family” concept. We are a community of instructors, students, and staff who are passionate about music and dedicated to musical performance. We believe in an encouraging teaching method. This approach allows students to truly feel and share the joy of playing music together while they develop their skills. Through our ensemble training and public performances, students experience the importance of mutual respect, appreciation, and teamwork. These musical experiences build strong confidence and a deep sense of satisfaction.
純樂『大家庭』的音樂文化 — 純樂著重『大家庭』的概念。這個『大家庭』由一眾師生及行政人員共同建立，而且彼此建基於對音樂的興趣及對器樂演奏的熱誠，積極參與純樂的教學、排練及演出活動。
Our Curriculum and Connections 我們的課程與聯繫
Our curriculum is based on the University of British Columbia School of Music model. It is designed to meet the requirements of graded exams from institutions like the ABRSM and Trinity College London. However, it also focuses on a comprehensive approach to music-making. Our curriculum helps students understand the role of music holistically, from ear training and rhythm to instrumental proficiency and improvisation. This well-rounded approach ensures our students receive a complete and enriching music education.
課程及教學方針 — 純樂之教學方針以加拿大音樂教育理念為依歸，並且參照英屬哥倫比亞大學音樂學院之教學模式及要求而推行。純樂所舉辦之各項音樂課程，除了能符合及滿足學員對英國皇家音樂學院及聖三一音樂學院各級器樂及樂理考試之要求外，同時亦能充分發揮出北美洲音樂教育概念的精髓及優勢，讓學員可以更全面性地學習音樂領域上的各類知識，並享受純美音樂。
Our International Connections and Partnerships 我們的國際聯繫與合作夥伴
We have many connections that enhance our music education offerings. Since 2002, PURE Orchestral Centre has served as the official Hong Kong branch of the world-renowned UBC Summer Music Institute in Vancouver, Canada. This provides students with high-quality summer music training opportunities. We also maintain close relationships with many local and international institutions and musicians, including the Hong Kong Flute Centre and various university music schools.
國際聯繫 — 純樂管弦中心自 2002 年起成為世界排名首四十大著名學府之一，位於加拿大溫哥華之英屬哥倫比亞大學 (UBC) 音樂及英語學院之香港分院，旨在為學員提供高質素及水平之暑期音樂訓練機會。純樂亦同時與 UBC 音樂學院保持定期及緊密之聯繫，務求在教學理念、方法及形式方面，能夠相互了解配合，並能實踐於純樂日常之教學用途方面，使學員能獲得最大裨益。此外，多個本地及國際性音樂、教育及文化機構/音樂家等亦與純樂開展「伙伴關係」，使純樂能從相互間之合作機會中，促進音樂發展及教育文化的交流。
