The ukulele comes in four main sizes: Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone. As children grow, they can choose to change the ukulele size to better fit their fingers. However, many people, even adults, love to play the Soprano or Concert sizes due to their portable nature. As a result, both young kids and adults can enjoy this small and sweet-sounding instrument.
The ukulele’s small, portable size makes it a significant advantage for younger students who are just beginning their musical journey. We recommend beginning ukulele lessons at 4 years of age or above.
